How many Generals, army and police and they couldn't set up a food chain to feed their own people ?   Tells you everything doesn't it......... Army sat all over the country doing sweet fanny adams and a PM an X General who should know how to sort out a small logistics problem....    Something about the inability to organize a drink in a brewery jumps to mind.....   Trucks, catering corps, food, lines, distance, one at a time........ what's hard about that ?

Of course they want to be in front so they don't miss out, wouldn't you? Yes the police or city hall people could have handled it better but lay off the poor buggers just trying to get a feed.

I do. Anyone who's spent any time queueing in Thailand knows it's the survival of the fittest, must get pole position at any costs. Chinese take it to a whole other level though.

 

We also do proper social distancing automatically where I come from:

These poor  souls are the ones that serve us  20 baht food after we  have been out at 2am and spend 1500 baht on a night out or 2500 if you been lucky, lets all give them a break and i would be pleased to offer help where i could to ease there plight

i was driving past.  The queue was long but moving quick. it was sad.  they must free up the restrictions soon. allow shops to open, keep bars closed if need be

sounds like they have  the rice and want to give out the rice but unfortunately their ability to organise distribution has resulted in the initiative failing. back to the drawing board and try again. it can't be that difficult can it?!

True, and even if every country went back to normal tomorrow, it would still probably take several months for things to even approach normality.
