They where standing for more than 2.5 hours in the sun waiting !,lines  reorganizing to the ridiculous way in different ways and trials , over and over again until finally the officials in their nice canary yellow vests arrived and announced some speech …..first only 2 police , later some 6 with caps (high ones , came just talking to the diminishing crowd 

 

Indeed no social distancing rule was followed , and also no fines or arrests as with the 11 foreigners  drinking together a few days ago ….

Governments should be afraid of the people,

not the people afraid of governments.

Much the same for Western countries.

The poorer the population, the easier

to control. Recent purchase of tanks

by the Thai government doesn't auger

Thailand bought subs for billions of dollars but now has lines of hungry people standing in the blazing hot sun while a disease is spreading....and they even sent them away....what a disgrace, i have no words for it.

I was thinking the next example of lack of social distancing might be  protest at City Hall....

The organisers had not told the authorities about the event either. 

 

The problem stems from here! If they had been informed they would have been prepared!

Best thing would be to give a number out, through media, and then get the food deliver to them.

Surely organising a proper food distribution it's not rocket science, very sad to see a hungry crowd turned away, and it's just the beginning.

The solution is just the opposite. Kick out the government of the military and the entire senate.

 

Ban the PPRP party for life and get a party like the PTP and eventually the FFP to run the country.

 

Disarm the army and send them back to their barracks and sack ALL the officers above the rank of colonel

But if they had to go out and organise it,well they would have had to put down their phones get out of their chairs in their ac office and actually do something,not in their job description.

Put already poor people out of work and then take away their food for many of which is all they can hope to get. What can possibly go wrong? As stated above, why can't a few police actually police and keep everyone at the recommended distances? Disgraceful!

Not so easy to organise, you have to have it in an area where people can walk to and also get there without forming groups. Social distancing could also mean lines of a mile long. What happens if people join the queue , from a side street, at a half way point. It also need to be do in a way so it only targets the people who really need help!

 

Location Location Location!

 

A football stadium would be a good place, would have many exits and a large area to organise social distancing!

Not easy to think rational when one is hungry or have hungry children at home.
Soon the hungry will increase and rioting begins.
Thais are not used to hunger like Africans are. The could become very nasty.

One has to wonder how the thai mentality works.
Accept that they are hungry because karma a la Buddhism or will they be angry at the government for failing to feed them.
My understanding is that they think karma decides if you are rich or poor.
Anyone with deeper understanding of Buddhism philosophy?

The Pattaya administration people should have been able to anticipate this, and use police to control the crowds. This is a very simple thing to do. Instead the wealthy fatcats displayed an incredible lack of sensitivity to the masses who are without jobs, without savings, and without food. After all, they have not been hoarding the "peoples funds" for years now, as the officials have.

They say every cloud has a silver lining ???? Could this mean that, when the bars re-open,  we may look forward to a new selection of gogo dancers in the lean and mean category ?

These "idiots" as you call them are concerned about eating than social distancing, they have no money to buy food, instead of belittling them, why don't you donate some food for them to eat.

in some 7 months closure before re opening allowed ,they can loose many weight , and same time many farang livers become even again good for transplantation …..55555

 

So even a double silver lining …. ????
