An interesting observation was made in the report by Pattaya Daily News:

SOURCE: Pattaya Daily News: Friday April 13th 2007

After checking the car, the police found a popular image of the Buddha (Jatukam ramatehp) hanging on the mirror, which had sustained no damage, but had apparently failed to fulfil the driver’s faith in it.
