INOVO I 955 FuFu ANDROID PHONE - QUERIES

My wife is completely non-technical, that's not a complaint, simply an observation. She is easily convinced through TV advertising that the advertised products are 'must have'

Her latest acquisition is an INOVO I 955 FuFu Android phone 5.5 inch screen at around ThB 1600. The phone is well made, well specd but has a number of frustrating features.

My questions relate specifically to this model but I accept that other INOVO models share similar characteristics.

If you have knowledge of this phone I invite comments on the following:

1,     I cannot find, oline, an English language User Manual. However, I have been able to change the Language via the Settings to English and can navigate.

2.     There seems to be only one ringtone available. I have set the volume to Loudest and selected an 'enhance' feature but the volume of the ringtone is pathetically thin and low in sound level. I downloaded a Strong Ringtone app but very little improvement.

3.     The phone has a Dual SIMM holder. Stacked one above the other. The top slot (SIMM 1) will accept a 'Mini' SIMM or a 'Micro' SIMM although the latter has to be carefully positioned to maintain contact. The lower slot for SIMM 2 will accept only a 'Micro' SIMM. A tiny engraving on the holder indicates that the top SIMM should be contact down with the chamfer at top left in the holder. But, for SIMM 2 it appears to indicate the chamfer should be bottom left. This means the SIMM is inserted contact uppermost. That, however, is not the problem which is that despite numerous attempts I cannot get a 'Micro' SIMM to go into the slot! 'Nano' SIMMS are specifically banned in the Thai language User Guide.

Any tips welcome. Don't bother telling me to sling it, my pool is in hibernation and covered????
