snoop1130 Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Extraction review: Chris Hemsworth's Netflix movie is an intense and brutal hit By BY IAN SANDWELL NETFLIX Marvel stars venturing out of the MCU has often had mixed results – for every Chris Evans in Knives Out, there's a Robert Downey Jr in Dolittle. Chris Hemsworth hasn't had the best of luck when he's not playing Thor, with recent efforts like 12 Strong and Men in Black: International not exactly hitting the mark with critics or at the box office. So Hemsworth's Netflix movie Extraction, directed by long-time Marvel stunt coordinator Sam Hargrave and produced by the Russo brothers, wasn't exactly a guaranteed success. And while there is one significant issue with the plot, Extraction is sure to be a success when it hits Netflix this Friday (April 24), thanks to Hemsworth's engaging lead role and its sensational action. rasmus5150 Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 In these Covid times almost any entertainment is better than nothing. So many "big-screen-productions" are being delayed almost a year, so great that Netflix can entertain us. Extraction is 2 hours of entertainment, but it's nothing more than that.
DoctorG Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Watched it last night. Ok and entertaining as a "shootemup" but it will not be an award contender. There are plot holes, but that is not unusual, although not bad enough to make one stop watching.
Henryford Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Saw it last night. A very good film. Much better than most of the rubbish these days. 1
Mansell Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Watched half last night. Started pretty believable but then went off the charts with the amount of people killed. Started to be like those rubbish films with massive body counts by one person. These films are aimed at fifteen year old males, much like all those SuperHero <deleted> films. When did we lose good stories and good actors?
