Hi there,

I have a scanner with an automatic document feeder. However, the scanner does not scan both sides of the pages, so what I have to do is scan all the odd pages then re-scan all the even pages.

The result I get is two PDF files, one with all the odd pages and another with all the even pages (backwards). Like for a document with 10 pages, one PDF file would have 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 while another would have 10, 8, 6, 4, 2.

Does anybody know how I could combine these two files into one PDF in the right order?

Thanks!

After a further hour googling, I found a solution :o A GPL'ed released program called pdftk can achieve this (through about 5-6 command lines), so I wrote a batch script for it :D If anyone wants it then i'll post it here (since i can see people without automatic duplex scanner falling into the same dilemma as me).

Thanks all who read =)
