Does anyone know if Fortune Town is open, or other IT specialist places?

Alternatively, does anyone know of any shops around Silom/Bangrak selling mice for a laptop? One with a good range to choose from.

The government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration on Monday (May 11) revealed the draft list of venues and activities allowed to reopen or restart under the second phase of lockdown easing, which is expected to take place on Sunday, May 17.

The list is not final and more items may be added later, said the centre’s spokesperson Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin. The list will be finalised on May 15.

1. Shopping malls, community malls and department stores – except for cinemas, bowling alleys, fitness centres, water theme parks, fun parks, convention halls and Buddha image shops.

2. Food outlets in office buildings – including restaurants, canteens, beverage shops, ice cream and dessert shops.

3. Retail and wholesale shops.

4, Beauty salons (for treatments that take no longer than two hours), nail salons.

5. Beauty clinics, slimming centres.

6. Outdoor sports stadiums (no spectators allowed).

7. Floral gardens, botanical gardens, museums, public libraries, galleries.

8. Traditional massage shops (foot massage only).

9. Production of TV programmes, advertising and fashion shoots (crew limited to five).

10. Meetings inside and outside workplaces via video conferencing software.

No mention of Home Pro or Baan and Beyond.  Stores in Malls should open but what about stand alone stores?  I guess they could be described as department stores.

We're now hearing that malls might not open til June. Hopefully that's not true!

I guess the amulets don't work against the virus. That must come as a shock to many ????

I’m hearing that you are spreading fake news.

"The same CCSA source said yesterday he did not believe shopping malls will be allowed to reopen under the Phase-2 lockdown, saying they should instead be among the last businesses to resume normal operations.

Claims which stated that shopping malls will reopen around the middle of this month probably came from “shopping mall owners who wanted to test the waters”, he said.

“The reopening of department stores will depend on whether people can take care of themselves,” the source said, adding their public awareness is crucial to prevent new outbreaks."

Inspections are ongoing in some malls ????????

That would be only a couple more weeks. Hardly devastating!

Our local Home Prosell a limited range of PC stuff left single customers in by appointment. There is a desk in the carpark where you can arrange a visit.

I live near Fortune Town and go there often, but I find that Lazada is the best place to buy a mouse. The prices are often hundreds of baht less and if you buy from a local store, you'll often get it in a day or two. You'll also find a better selection on Lazada. From some reason if you do a search on Lazada for <computer mouse>, you don't a full selection. Best to search for <Logitech Mouse>, <Microsoft Mouse>, etc., on the Lazada site, you can then narrow your search from there.

With "only" 56 reported deaths in Thailand, something worked.

Thanks. Did you see Fortune Town open as you pass by it often?
