i know it's been posted before but i still can't find the beach that can be accessed by farangs, tried before but was turned away by army checkpoint

can someone please provide precise directions - possibly a map

I take it you turned right at the hospital, then all you have to do is keep going straight until you get to where the armed guards are. About 10 meters before you get to the guards there is a turning on the left, take it.

Follow that until almost the end and take the left hand fork which will bring you to the 1st beach where they sell great seafood.

After you've filled your belly you can stay at this beach or drive about a kilometer further to another beach, which I think is much better.

Don't forget to buy the chicken from the claypots sold at the stalls along the road to the navy base!
