It rumors that celebrities from Russia like to relax in Thailand. All kinds of them visit this place! Boris Rotenberg, Olga Buzova, Andrey Malakhov, Ruslan Goryukhin ... the constellation of public figures!

I wonder what kind of hotels they choose to stay?

Obviously they stay in 5* or 5* deluxe hotels. 

I think you could post this question in tourdom ru forum (of Russian tour agents).

 

A couple of years ago Olga Buzova stayed in Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas https://krauzer.ru/news/10027/

 

In 2000 I remember I booked Royal Cliff Pattaya hotel for a singer Linda famous at that time.

The famous singer Philip Kirkorov also stayed at that hotel in 1998 while he a gave a show there.

There were not so many hotels to chose from at that time.

 

Some Russian celebrities purchase the property especially in Phuket (like famous singer Grigory  Leps https://realty.tut.by/news/money/571853.html )

 

But I think the celebrities often prefer other destinations closer to Russia or more exclusive (away from the crowds) - like Dubai, Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius, Bali.

 

Some politicians/celebrities purchase the property in Miami, USA.
