I have been using Lazada for a few years now and no problems. All of a sudden my last order was not deliverable "incorrect delivery address". I spent 45 minutes on their "chat" and was told after many verification questions including snapshots of email, snapshots of wallet (which I don't use), telephone numbers, etc. I would receive an email. I received the email with a deposit of 100 baht into my Wallet. However being as I am not Thai I was told I had to open a new "chat" and convert the wallet to a voucher. After contacting the seller and reordering my item, he sent me a photo of the shipping address label. I noticed he (or Lazada) used the prefix +66 and then the number without dropping the "0" so I was not getting the phone call when they came to deliver the package at my condo. So I think that is why it was not deliverable. Never had this problem before. So......when I went in to to Lazada to change the number dropping the "0" they needed to verify me by sending me a SMS code to my phone number which I don't receive as +66080**** instead of +6680*****.

Anyone having this issue with Lazada lately?

Why can't they leave it with the Juristic Person's Office Mailroom ....most condos accept ...I don't understand the difficulty...I can add addresses, change numbers, etc etc without any hassle

Interesting.

I had a similar problem with my last Lazada delivery for the first time.

I use Lazada a lot and pay cod.

The package went to their Pattaya distribution center but then was labeled address error and sent to Chonburi city. It finally arrived after a four day delay.

Really nuts.

My address is very clear.

Yes. Similar problem. It was also my first problem with Lazada. However I can not edit phone number as they want to send sms to the number that's not working.

Lazada ' chat ' is a waste of time .....  it's always ' we will do our best to see that your parcel gets delivered safely as required ' .....  now they use LEX TH, and i only read bad reports about their delivery failures.

They used "Flash delivery" which I hadn't heard of before

We get Flash (but they should change the name , to " quite quick sometimes " ) now and then , they rung us at 10:30hrs the other morning to ask the wife if " the address was correct ", she told them it was , " okay , it is to late to deliver today we will try and deliver tomorrow "

The other one that is appearing lately is CJ logistics.

Lazada has grown to such mammoth size that it has become too hard to manage and control quality of service and honesty of the sellers, I for one have several issues with them that can only point to one direction, dissatisfaction of service and dependability...

This happened to me, as well.  I have been waiting over a month for a package that was at the check points wherever...in lazada space they were.  Then I got a refund and note that said they tried to deliver but, were unable to deliver.  Which is nonsense.  I have received many packages here at my condo.  There are always people at the reception area who collect deliveries.  This is nothing new to them.  Lazada lied.  I will have to seriously think about using them again.  Can we use Alibaba?  Or, maybe I will go directly through the purveyor.

agree .... they don't screen their vendors properly so there is no QA/QC assured. The vendors can ship you out anything without checking it's the correct item and all parts are included. Vendors advertise items they don't even have.

Recently deliveries from Lazada are taking forever, before the virus situation, 2 to 3 days, now some orders almost 2 weeks.

Lazada is getting out of control, got too BIG, too many shady merchants selling on there now.

Customer service used to be excellent, not anymore.

Of course its the virus thing and with it a really big increase in packages (all delivery guys were complaining about huge amounts this was even in the news). So it was virus related.  I used to pay ahead but now for bigger stuff I do cod as with the virus not all shops were open and such but did not close their online shop. Would mean time to get money back and hassle.

Read my post again, in it i said about the virus situation, but that has nothing to do with the many shady merchants now on there, or the very distinct lack of customer service now.

I did not make any comments about shady merchant or customer service. I only made a comment about the delivery time. The rest i have no proof nor opinion about.

Maybe they are a bit busier now, on delivery.

I ordered half a dozen items. One was cancelled. Item not in stock! Credit in my bank 3 days.
The rest of them turned up in a variety of vehicles. From Kerry. Motorbikes and unmarked pick ups.

A while back, i had an order due for delivery, according to the tracking system, it was out for delivery.

Nobody came, nor the next day, so i complained, reason i was given, driver attempted delivery, nobody home.

How bloody stupid to say that, as i am at home all day everyday, and have a security camera covering the gate.

I got a call from the courier company, lady had good English, asking when would somebody be home to accept the c.o.d. delivery.

Well you can imagine what she got told, your driver is full of s++t, no delivery attempt was made.

Our driver said, well your driver is not telling the truth, please send somebody to check.

Tell what day/ time he was supposedly here and i will check my monitor, so she told me, i played back the system, nothing, so they got told in no uncertain terms what i thought.

A man came, called himself the manager for the area, he left rather sheepishly after seeing the playback.

I've had cancelations as well usually with shipments from China but nothing to do with failed delivery attempts or not understanding my address.

I'm so glad you haven't lost your diplomatic skills!

I have been using them for many years and never a problem till this week. I had two orders not right. One order for 25mm cable wrap (they sent me 2.5mm cable wrap) and I only got five tins of a soft drink I ordered instead of six. Also on both occasions, they said the order was to be delivered today but they did not show up for an additional two days. Our normal delivery driver is saying he is being slaughtered with orders.

I mainly use Shoppee now for most my orders as they are cheaper and the delivery times for me are much faster. Problem is with Shoppee if you have a trouble with an order, you need to deal with the seller, so I never buy expensive items by them (I just buy things like roasted coffee beans). Still, I bought a 55'' LCD TV from Lazada this month on a flash sale and it was delivered in two days.

It can be hit and miss.

Like most here, my lazada purchases have become more frequent these past two months. We wait until we have about half-a-dozen items and order COD, local only, so maybe every 10 days or so? In March and April, delivery times were like before but is has definitely slowed these past couple of weeks. Right now I have a couple of small items on the last order (9 May) that got to Udon maybe 3 or 4 days ago but nobody's called and the online tracker shows in still transit. Notably one of them is the LEX service which has been previously mentioned as being dodgy.

All very good but what happened to your package?

And not only in Thailand. I recall watching the Singapore-based MD getting interviewed on Bloomberg about 6 or 8 months ago and despite having a quoted market value of billions, it hasn't made a cent of profit. Ever.
