Help Required With Software

Featured Replies

My aim is to schedule and stream late night televised sporting events from PSI or UBC (True) to my PC and save them for viewing at a later time. I’ve allocated 90 GB of hard disk space to the cause, that gives me about 7 hours at full DV quality. No worries.

Whilst in Aus I explained my requirement to a so called expert shop assistant and was sold a ‘Pinnacle 500-USB’ RCA to USB2 adapter and it’s associated Studio 10 software (AUD $240.00). OK it works and has many features I don’t need but it doesn’t have the scheduling tools.

I’ve searched the WEB high and low and downloaded several capture packages (eg Player A/V 8.14 demo) but none seem to detect my hardware, they go out looking for PCI TV Tuners etc.

Any suggestions on a software utility that will suit my situation?
