German drowns in Hotel Swimming Pool in Naklua.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Soomet from Pattaya Police Station was called to a Hotel in Naklua after staff reported the drowning of one of their hotel guests.

At the scene, the body of Mr. Felix Hermann aged 68 from Germany had already been recovered from the Hotel Swimming Pool and taken to a secluded area away from other Hotel Guests.

An inspection of the body came up with no visible signs of trauma. It is known the man arrived in Thailand on Sunday Morning and was found face-down in the pool later on in the day.

Inside his Hotel Room, medication used to treat a heart condition was found suggesting that a Heart Attack is the most likely cause of death, however, a post mortem examination is now underway to determine the exact cause of death and the German Embassy in Bangkok has been informed of the case.
