Putting a house up country in the wife's name may be no big deal, often it's in a place a falang wouldn't want to stay on their own and may not be a lot of money, but the condo should be in the falang name and any falang money should be kept in their own account. A big reason is the falang is trying to impress the wife with how much money they have so buys assets in her name. The force's mobile units have high-resolution face recognition systems installed in them. But I doubt this was what led to his capture.
