Where Is A Public Pool?

Featured Replies

I am looking for a public pool in Phuket to swim and do laps in without all the hassle of sneaking into some farangs house while he is out on the pish and swim until he gets home and then sneak over his fence, him none the wiser. I am tired of sneaking around, and would like to do it for free, or pay a fee, no matter.

Anyone know of such a pool (s)?

Diving boards are a bonus, but are not required.

the walrus

there is a proper club pool set up with lanes etc just along the road from chalong

take the road to phuket town from chalong circle, look out for Chalong gym on the right hand side. Just past this you will see a large warehouse on the left hand side, take the first left immediately after this

about 100 meter down the road you will see a building directly in front of you ( the road forks) the pool is upstairs

its 50 baht for adults and 30 baht for kids all day

Maybe to north for you Cajun as you listed local is South Phuket, but up in Cheung Talay take the entry road to Laguna, make a right going to plaza Del Mar and opposite it is a municipal swimming pool (no diving board)

The pool is 25m in length clean and nice with about 6-8 lanes marked out on the bottom.

Ample parking and the place is mostly deserted except for on weekends.

The prices are 40THB a visit or if you pay 100THB for a one year membership the visits are only 20THB a pop.
