Can anyone recommend a local hosting company in Bangkok, as we

need to store some of our databases within Thailand due to speed req.?

It has to support mySQL, PEAR and PHP.

I know one in Pattaya, not sure where the physical hosting is, though.

Another good one I know in Bangkok, but they cannot hand php and sql stuff...only MS based databases.

If you can do a tracert, that should tell you where the physical hosting is.

Go to Start / Run and type command in the box

At the prompt type tracert thedomain.com

The last name before it finishes is usually the host site, take the domain name or IP address to http://nic.com and use the whois query to find the address.
