Zero, we will never get it. Just like with the normal flu, HIV, herpes and a runny nose always comes back.

Then should the BTS, MRT

No. Essential

Yes

Or is it because you don't like bars with prostitutes?

Music concerts, weddings, motogp, sport crowds all cancel to help stop spread covid.

Tourist place eg elephant camp, hotels, shops, etc sacrifice for stop spread covid.

Open TJ Ladyboy Bar in Pattaya is not important. And covid spread more that business than all the business I mention.

You must control your cravings, is the rule.

Your reasoning is therefore not logical and conclusive.

Many of their customers are close to begging the government to let them reopen too. With no local transmissions in a couple of weeks now, there is essentially no one out there right now for people to catch covid from, so further continued closure makes very little sense. They have zero chance of getting tourists in all the time this continues and now would seem the perfect time to allow them to open so the situation can be assessed and protocol addressed before people come back in numbers.

There are a lot of people employed by these places who need to get back to earning a living.

The gov don't care about the battlers. They are the enemy obviously

Yes.  What exactly are they begging for?  Do they think there are planes waiting to land at Suvarnabhumi Airport?

There are still some expats here, I think they hope some of them will find the way to them sometimes.
If you have to pay rent, and other costs, even a little bit of income is better than nothing.

They banned alcohol but people were still lining up at their local shops to buy it. Same with closing bars. I don't think all the girls went to the temple. I think they just moved out to the beaches or the streets.

It is like this at least here in Pattaya at night. For instance the area in front of Tree Town in Soi Buakhao is filled with prostitutes and people drinking alcohol that they bought at a nearby 7-Eleven. A friend lives in this area and whenever I visit him I can't believe what I see and that nobody cares. On the other hand for instance in malls and on the beach they care so much. Doesn't make sense to me.

And today at sunset - our expat group (2 - 4 of us on any given day) who meets regularly for "sundowner beers"  and a chats at the beach,  were told by the chair-lady to QUICKLY empty our bottles as the Police were coming along the beach and fining anyone who was selling/drinking beer.

WHAT ???... these beach-chair folks have waited a long time to get back to making a living and now the BIB (boys in brown) are going to deny even that little pleasure that has been a part of beach chairs style  for dozens of years ?

When did having a beer with your beach-chair become illegal ????????????????

****************************************************

It is not allowed to drink alcohol in the public. At nighttime this does not seem to be enforced so much at least not everywhere.

Minimizing loses in not making a profit.

Just what, exactly, are they begging or hoping for?

really?

Thailand is the world leader in traffic fatalities. From every 1 million inhabitants, around 460 are killed each year.

C19 have 1 dead from 1 million.

According to your logic, all roads should be closed.

Fortunately, the virus no longer spreads in Thailand. Don't you understand the numbers?

However, the consequences of the severe restriction of freedom lead to more deaths than the virus itself.

Millions have lost their jobs and income. many are not allowed to work. many have financial worries. and significantly more than 58 people have hung up themselves.

Thai lives matter or not?

Is there a clear definition what a ladyboy is? Some are just dressed like ladies. Some have breast implants and some have done even more.

A ladyboy is a girl born in the body of a boy

then all his\her life he\she tries to tune his\her body to his'her mind

the most easy way is the hairstyle. the makeup and the clothes.

The others steps, more expensive, are the breast implants and

finally the cut of the penis, which is used to create a fake vagina.

Takiing hormones is often associated with the whole process.

This would be a good opportunity for the authorities to stop the prostitution. It's illegal anyway, but not enforced. Allow them to re-open as long as there are no "bar fines" and girls going out. The girls can chat in the bar, but not go with customers for other services.

So cleaned the place out and handed her the key with a smile...Priceless !

But did you lose some deposit and /or key money which means the landlord is fine for 6 months? I expect having t0 find a place for the fixtures and fittings in the mean time is also a problem.

She said there may be no foreign tourists but she can serve Thais in the meantime, at least that would be something.

This sounds reasonable, but of course the trouble is that if Thais start gathering in bars and rubbing shoulders, in the middle of a global pandemic, something tells me the infection will spread.  Especially since alcohol makes people take extra risks they would normally not take.

Absolutely no national media coverage of the fantastic efforts of businesses here (mainly farang) in Pattaya/Phuket....I wonder why...shameful treatment by this junta towards the most vulnerable in its society

You need to see the motives. They are low yes.  They are simply starving  them out of Pattaya. COVID is <deleted> excuse. They have plans with the Chinese rodents. To build a casino. The Mall is a decoy. All the infrastructure  new hotels roads points there. They will announce that much later..When they destroy everyone 100%.

They don't give a f about Thais. That tourism minister believes woman don't come because entertainment lol..We have entertainment in our own countries. The Chinese lady spending up big in 7 lol. Never replace farang investment. Domino effect.  She is brain dead.

The same on Samui - thousands of starving people and hundreds of farang volunteers running charities and raising money for them. Zero press or media coverage and no mention of farangs helping the country when the government couldn't give a <deleted>.

The covid virus has not spread in Thailand due to the nature of the tropical climate,

The covid virus has spread in SOME countrys more because of stupid government want to argue politics when is medical problem.

Some countrys refuse to wear mask, send old people with covid to “old care homes” with lot of other old people= 50,000 + old people dead, not testing enough, not have hand gel, not protection clothe for nurse and doctor, refuse tracing app, refuse social distancing for protests, want to shake hands in covid hospital etc.

Tropical climate help also, but not everything. Many reason. Mexico today weather 24- 36C. But now number 3 deaths.

People must work together, not argue and fight.

If I remember correctly the tourism minister was the one who wanted to extend the opening hours of the nightlife so that they can earn more money. Doesn't fit to your statements.
