The Pattaya police went out to Jomtien Beach at 4.00 am on 18th April to escort a number of lady boys back to the station to inspect their records in case they have been involved in any crime.

Since the police have had many complaints from tourists about beach prostitutes bothering them therefore to suppress crime, a team went to check out the scene and found many lady boys walking around. They saw it necessary to inspect their files in case any are wanted so took them back to the closest station; which was Dongtan Sub-station.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Thailert Luepue also announced that if anybody has been robbed or bag snatched by any beach prostitutes or lady boys and can remember their faces; they should come to the station and make a sketch for the police records.
