Google Maps to alert users about COVID-19-related travel restrictions

(Reuters) - Google is adding features on its Maps service to alert users about COVID-19-related travel restrictions to help them plan their trips better, the Alphabet Inc unit said on Monday.

BANGKOK – A round of exams, for students applying for seats in Grade 10, took place across Thailand on June 7. The Education Minister, Nataphol Teepsuwan, visited Singsamut School in Chonburi province and Banchang Karnchanakul Witthaya School in Rayong province to see how well they are adapting to the new normal.

No decision yet on lifting Emergency Decree: Anutin

The Cabinet has not decided whether to continue with or lift the Emergency Decree, while Thailand has not seen any new local Covid-19 cases for the past 14 days, Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said today (June 9), noting that all new patients recently discovered were returnees from foreign countries.

Vietnam plans to resume flights to some virus-free countries

HANOI(Reuters) - Vietnam plans to allow a resumption of flights to and from countries that have had no cases of coronavirus for 30 days, state media cited the prime minister as saying on Tuesday, with priority destinations including Japan, South Korea and Cambodia.

LONDON (Reuters) - The coronavirus might have been spreading in China as early as August last year, according to Harvard Medical School research based on satellite images of hospital travel patterns and search engine data, but China dismissed the report as "ridiculous".

Annual operation fee for hotel waived as of July 1
