Later on there is someone mail to me that he want to buy it, but I must send it to Nigeria.

Only send him my addrress and he will proceed the money transaction.

Today, I get a mail from "western union money transfer" confirms that the guy who want to buy my mac

has already tranfer the money for me. Only send my mac by courrier to Nigeria and pass the airway bill to

western union transfer with my ID then they will paid me up.

Anybody have expereince with this kind of transaction. Is this a fruad?

Thank who can shed some light on this matter.

Did the mail include the money control code? If so you can go to Western Union.com and validate the transfer. If no code, no money, no send the Mac.

Regards

PS Nigeria is a very difficult location, and has a deserved reputation for on-line fraud.

PPS If you are not familiar with the Western Union process their website explains it clearly from both sender and recipient perspective.

Why would anyone in Nigeria buy a Mac from Thailand? I bet they told you to send it by the most expensive delivery method because they need it urgently...money no problem?

Yes it most likely is a fraud

Hello,

Nigeria is the most common scam location, on ebay and on the internet in general. When i still sold stuff on ebay, i was contacted once a month by people who wanted to buy lots of my offered goods. They always wanted to pay western union money....something... it always was a service3 wetern union does not even offer.

stay away and sell your mac here.

regards

Generally speaking Western Union is a quick way of sending and receiving money jusdt about anywhere in the world. However, it's a very expensive way of doing things - with fees of about 20 per cent.
