I read some where a few years ago that it was reckoned that About two thirds of the Thai adult male population use prostitution in some form.

Quite understandable around here when you see what Thai men have as partners....well,  a lot of em.

I had to clean my laptop, spat my coffee all over it.

So Pathum Thani will be Covid free & tourist free.

What about the local boys?

I doubt if they are free.

There's nothing in Prathumthani. You're wasting your time even considering it. You can find the level of prostitution in Prathumthani anywhere in Thailand. If you want nightlife and girls, Bangkok or the other well known areas area the place to go. Prathumthani is just a mega traffic jam pretty much most of the time because its a suburb with cheap homes for factory workers and people working in Don Mueang and Bangkok. Nowadays, it seems Tinder or similar apps are a popular way for someone to find a short time companion. I've also seen some girls posting on Twitter in Thai in relation to the area they are available. I'd bet some use Facebook as well.

I wonder where these guys in the upper crust of Thai bureaucracies get their moralistic ideas from?  From their Mia Nois perhaps?  ????

The man has spoken. Thus shall it be. ????

Do they EVER get tired of pretending to enforce laws???  Who would go to Pathum Thani for that type of activity???

One of many Thai fairy tales. All the politicians and police officers are now missing all the bribes from the red light scene and that hurts a lot. As soon as there will be a vaccine against Corona, everything will be much more extreme and everything will go its usual way. Thailand will soon be back as we know it.
