The 53 000 who died of the virus (and rising) arent exactly free they ?

If everyone in the UK would have acted responsibly when the virus first hit the UK , the UK would now be virus free and everyone could once again go about their daily lives normally .

The people out on the streets all singing about "freedom" are the very reason why everyone is still on lock down

A lot of people don't care about the virus, the demographics who are partying and protesting are not going to die. The virus was never going to wiped out in a few months, it's still cropping in clusters in other european countries. These restrictions are in place until spring 2021 at the earliet in europe, the younger people are not putting up with it.

I can't remember how Labour did with rough sleepers, it was that far back.

In Britain the police are hated and despised by any group likely to be protesting on the streets.

The politicians need to get tough and override the diversity led Muslim mayors and lesbian police commissioners to take back the streets before it’s too late like America.

The people on the streets now are black, white and asian. They are on the streets for a variety of reasons, partying, protesting, celebrating, there is no common link anymore.

The virus could have been wiped out within a few months , its been achieved in numerous Countries , Thailand, Vietnam and Laos , just to name a few .

The younger people are selfish , especially the ones who live with their elderly parents , as its quite possible that if they contract the virus, go home and pass it on to their elderly parents  and that could quite possible be fatal for the parents

This is not SE Asia, it's western countries and people in western countries prefer their freedoms. Also the demographics of the people dying is something Asia has less of. Everyone has to die at some point, the vulnerable should be protected and everyone needs to live their lives as before.

You obviously have no idea of what the economic meltdown coming is going to be like through these lockdowns. I have an English friend who is living in Montevideo and there is no money, shops and businesses are closing down. The next round of business closures in Thailand will be Q3 and Q4.

Yep. They'd be quick enough to tell us if he was an 'alt right' white man who once had a photo taken with Nigel Farage. The BBC and Sky would be on it like a fly around excrement.

notice how the media is portraying neo nazis as such a threat when they,re mostly just sad losers who,d have their work cut out blowing up a balloon let alone the houses of parliament.

Breakdown of law and order, crowds of people are not scared of the police anymore. It is power to the people and things will get interesting as summer moves along.

If you take peoples freedoms away, then the people will take it back. Park parties, block parties, park parties, beach parties, celebrating titles, protesting, large gatherings happening everywhere. The government acts tough and the police ain't getting involved.

and thousands more will die due to the described inaction.

It's a no win situation, if you crack down on people you will get massive civil disorder and if you do nothing then the virus could spread.

They are not enforcing many laws at present. Liverpool pier last night 1000s of fans, fireworks hit the liver bird building, bottles thrown at the police. London, street party in Maida Vale that moved on to West Kilburn, police tried to disperse. The police have said that they are not going to stop large gatherings in case it starts a riot. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jun/26/hardline-policing-may-provoke-civil-unrest-post-lockdown-government-warned

on your last point if the police haven,t got the bottle to do the job they,re paid to,bring in the army, the law is there ( in theory ) to protect the innocent not to pander to political correctness.whos running this country,a democratically elected government or the guardian?

If this attack was motivated by Islamist ideology, have to wonder why the upsurge at this moment in time. e.g. Have there been reports of increasing IS propaganda or similar?

More likely he's been reading the Quran and carrying out Allah's orders, not really an upsurge, attacks daily worldwide. The media always rush to blame mental illness of course, can't be anything else in their narrative.

The army won't do it either, the army won't uphold the law by aiming assualt rifles against the people.

Upsurge in UK. So far no firm advisory from police on Islamist attack or not, have to wait the outcome of further investigations.

It's a weekly occurrence. On mothers day a 7yo girl was all but beheaded in front of her mother by a 'woman from Bolton' who turned out to be Albanian.

Just had to google that - never heard it on any of the news outlets. Another barbaric incident involving a migrant that somehow stayed under the radar.

I thought after the grooming gangs cover up was exposed we might start to have more honest reporting of these things.

Whatever your name: thanks for acting as you did to try to restrain him, and may you recover soon.

Was his first name Christian?
