Hi,

Could anyone recommend a really good dentist in Bangkok?

I am allergic to pain, but having just lost half a molar I am going to have to get it sorted.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Most people will recommend larger dental clinics rather than doctors as dental, just as medical, is done by specialists in larger cities.  Large standalone or hospital type facilities are the normal choice - although they may be a bit higher priced than one or two person clinics the sanitation is often of a huge magnitude better.  But if you need to be medicated more than normal shot I would suggest a hospital setting just in case anything went wrong.  Others should provide names or you can find with a search - I am not in downtown area so use Vejthani Hospital Dentalis and it is in the higher priced range.

Cheers...much appreciated.

Both me and my wife used Thonglor Dental Hospital.

Everyone speaks exceptional English, even the cleaners! Now I speak pretty good Thai, but there are words when it comes to things like dentistry that you just don't learn or know, so I really liked being able to switch to English and explain what was going on

We went there after trying multiple other dentists. Our house is in Khon Kaen, but we had some rental condo's in Thonglor which is how we came across the place. It might tell you something that we would fly down there even to get our teeth cleaned.

I had a couple of crowns done, wife an implant and couple of crowns, all flawless

It may well not be cheapest you are going to find, but I'd vouch for it being top notch in terms of service.
