New Nakhon Ratchasima restaurant offers distinct flavour

A restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima province selling roasted fish has boosted its business since it caught the eye of patrons by switching to earthern pots for cooking.

 

The restaurant is the brainchild of a few people in Sikhio district who had lost their jobs due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

Using clay pots to roast fish has now become a trademark of the restaurant and led to a big increase in customers, who say they are impressed by the quality of the fish that the restaurant carefully picks.

 

Chanaphum Janya, 38, said he used to have a sportswear shop but it was permanently closed due to the low demand during the pandemic. He, therefore, shifted to the restaurant business to survive the financial crisis.
