You know in your heart...that you can believe the Chinese...????

  • China, the ultimate schoolyard bully...

  • Yes now that they are no longer in the EU they will either bend over to the US or China. They lost a lot of power by leaving a block. The Brits will have to get used to that.

It confirms nothing of the sort.

China’s response to the UK/Hong Kong has yet to come.

Action+reaction=The desired effect.

Here's how it works:

???????? shlt on ???????? in violation of the agreement with ???????? filed at the ????????

???????? returned the compliment which won't do us any harm in the (5)eyes of ???????? etc, not least as we're looking for fresh trade deals now that we're finally shot of the ????????.

So the big hype about security risks are no longer the issue. Just kowtow to Trump.

I don’t disagree, but let’s dispense with this nonsense that the foolish British announcement re Huawei is any kind of payback to China.

There was absolutely no reason to make the announcement other than to placate Trump.

So you're acknowledging he'll get 4 more years despite your constant rhetoric to the contrary on multiple boards...?

Good for China, good for the EU

The five eyes have lost the plot. How extensive is the UK's CCTV system, and how long have you had it? Definitely all about pandering to the US while they try to cling to the mantle of the best, biggest and brightest empire in the world; without having to actually start WW III. All empires come to an end..... and several truckloads of hyperbole are being dumped on Huawei to deflect from reality. And when it's replaced by American hardware......what; does anyone actually believe they won't be spying on their "mates". Being stickybeaks is a major part of their national psyche......

It’s not the next four years that matter, it’s what happens immediately before and immediately after the UK leaves the EU without a deal at the end of this year.

...

I personally believe Trump will get a lot more than four years.

Huawei did all that?

Huawei and the CCP are one and the same. You do know how communism works, right?

Would you like some links of current CCP members who are/were directly involved in Huawei?

I hope what you'd like to think and what you actually think are vastly different. If they're not, you've got a very narrow small world view.

You're going to have to explain that one to me.

UK is (or was) the most surveilled (is that a word?) place on the planet as a result of the threat posed by Irish Republican Terrorists. The world has since joined in.

Brexit means the end of the UK as an independent nation.....a cat's paw, a vassal state of the sinking US ship. Not a good place to be" eating chlorinated chicken and GMO food and with the NHS sold off to US corporations for them to plunder.

Then there's the new Chinese conglomerate.  It's a merger between Wi Tak Ova, Wat Yu Gana Do, and Up Yuz.  The new name will be CCP Game Over.

Turn Key, push button, either blows up sky high, or implodes as it is virus laden from hackers....

The CCP are a montruous regime, no doubt about it, but we should all remember that the mainstay of the American economy is war.  Big money in selling stuff.

I am feeling that the time has come to sit back, put my feet up, grab a nice cold one, put on the sunglasses and hit the beach chair and watch the waves come in and then wash back out.  The worlds BS and the stench from all the in-fighting, bickering, and bullying is taking its toll on us all.  Time to just relax and enjoy what the natural day can bring without any undue outside forces except those of Nature......Life is to be lived and not nutted up over.

For centuries, up until today, the dirty game of politics existed and will exist for centuries more.

Nations were pillaged, innocent citizens - infants to the very old and feeble - were murdered unmercifully, industries were ruined and countries destroyed under false accusations.

With this ill gotten wealth, a new rich, powerful and 'clean nations' were born. Now, a controversial 'war' has started amongst the very same old players!

The desperate pot is calling the kettle black, insults and accusations are flung freely between them. Let's wait and see who will ultimately take the reins to hand!

Whoever it is, rest assured, the pillage will not stop!

IMHO

I wish those that are supporting China on this issue, would correct their TV names, and use their real Chinese ones. So we can get a real picture of the commie comments.

Shouldn’t be so negative. Come November 3rd there will be a huge flush and this US regime will be eliminated. The next will be more aggressive and intelligent.
The conflict with China under Xi is only just heating up. I don’t think it serves anyone to have dominate Chinese technology with what’s coming. Huawei had to go.

Can't wait to see Joe try to figure out which part of Taiwan Xi is from.

Do you honestly claim that China's 'competitors' are ANY better?

Why?

Is someone taking the p***, or is that supposed to be 90%. If it's only 9% that can be discarded without a problem, IMO.

Best news I've heard in a long while. Anything that weans the west off China is good IMO.

What that actually means is that British companies have dumped British employees so they could get rich exploiting Chinese peasants, IMO.

I thought that happened already, given Blair's ( IMO ) sucking up to Bush during the Gulf war mark 2. Britain has to get it's warplanes from the US now given Britain doesn't actually make much of anything anymore. Used to make as good as any, but all in the past.

The great thing about Brexit and now CCP it gives the British government the power to reinvest in British Manufacturing. I just hope our government comes through for the people. We can not be reliant on china or Europe (I will never forgive Germany, France, Belgium for their refusal to sell even one round of ammo to the uk while supplying Argintina and as for France actually sending Technicians to fit Exercit missiles that killed so many and sunk our ships).

China warn all other countries about everything. Look in your own back yard China and start to warn your own people !

The indications are that Britain has responded to US demands.

Get used to it, there’s more to come.

Maybe the Americans threw in a solution to our nuclear power station needs as well?

When the Chinese plan to invest in infrastructure, do they invite any foreign companies to quite too ? or ONLY Chinese ?

It's up to the British, where they want to buy, NOT to the Chinese.

Of course. You are 100% correct.

The Chinese can be ignored 100% and the world can thrive. Yes sure.

Wasn't China claiming early on that Huawei was a private company and not tied to the CCP?  This kind of proves that false narrative.  Now what are the CCP going to do to snoop on everyone as this was their new plan A.

So Harley Davidson must be tied to the US government as their products were subject to additional import levies in Europe and the US government complained and said it would impose its own tariffs on certain European goods.

Just another example of a country fairly protecting its industries or a country bullying its trading partners?
