My last online 90 day report was more than 3 months ago so I’m on the “exemption” until 31 July. Does anyone know if I can do a report online now or am I somehow still overdue and do I need to go to an immigration office? I’m trying to avoid the gridlock in August (or whenever the exemption eventually ends)

The online system was down for enhancement yesterday but today it still gives me the standard “contact an IO” message
(sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere but I’ve hunted for an hour and found nothing)

Wait until immigration announces when they are due. Some offices have said it will be 90 day from when your last report was due.

Even you were able to do it online it might be rejected or not approved,

If you over 89 days approx message will be contact Imm Office. Think fine will happen as they still require 90 day reporting.

They are not required until after 31st and that may be extended.

Sign up at multiple offices says no fines on 90 day reports for anyone..through 31 July.

I did my 90-days a few months ago online, and last week at the office (less than five minutes), no issues, and I interpreted the apparently given "amnesty" as just that and to be honest did not look up the Thai source text..
I even was told not to forget again as I was late by a couple of days after the long weekend.

You are saying the reporting is not required, that would make it a "waiver" and not an "amnesty".
difference probably lost in translation somewhere.

Better safe than sorry.

Same for me, just keep doing what you normally do.

It's actually officially an "automatic extension" and nothing else. It was some newspaper or website that came up with the word amnesty. I did my 90 days report even if I didn't have to,instead of waiting for the very possible madness at immigration when the automatic extension has ended.

Online 90 day report system (and others) are closed down for maintenance until 20th July according to the Thai Immigration website.  Don't waste your time trying to use them before then like I did.

The online reporting site is working.

Only the apps are not working and it has been that way for some time now.

Thanks for the unnecessary correction. The context makes it clear I knew what I was asking about

BTW The Government PR Dept says “Foreigners with a permitted period of stay, who are due for the 90-day report between 1 May and 31 July 2020, are temporarily exempted from reporting in this period. However, once the situation is resolved, they are required to apply for visa extension and adhere to the 90-day reporting as specified by the regulations.”

Well it's not working for me right now and I see the 'mobile' apps ready date has now been moved forward to the 22nd July.

Just to know : there is no need to check further info relative to 90 days stup.. for people on visa on arrival at origin ? Makes more than 90 days staying, but a tourist visa did never required this very important non-sense of 90 days report...

I guess this could concern (hopefully not either) people with tourist visa (not on arrival).

I just went onto the online reporting and completed the required fields on page one and got this message when I clicked submit I always get due to an entry prior to 2013.

The makes me think it is certainly working. What are you getting when you try?

If on a 15 day visa on arrival that is only for those from 21 countries they probably normally would never do a 90 day report. Same for those getting 30 day visa exempt entries.

I think the main reason they included 90 day reporting in the ministerial notice was mostly to keep all of those that normally do not do them from showing up at immigration do do them. For those of us that normally do them it was to help reduce the number of people from having to go to immigration to do them plus when it first started people were being  told not go leave home unless they had to.

I have not had a 90 day report done since January. I skipped my report due in April to comply with the stay at home order and another one that was due this month.

I think they will continue the no 90 day report requirement when the new extension of the ministerial notice goes into effect.

Get the same message like you when I tried to do online 90 days reporting recently.

Almost same like you which I arrived on end of Jan and skipped the reporting in April during amnesty.

Will try to do this reporting at WC while renew my working Non-B visa next week.

And check with IO why I cannot do it online.

FYI, today Sunday 19 July, online services from the Imm site are not working.  It is scheduled to open again on 25 July (see screenshot).  If 31 July amnesty deadline is not extended, that will only leave a 4 day window for online renewal of 90 day reporting (unless somebody knows something I don't).  I saw the official CCSA briefing on Friday and it was said that they are considering extension of amnesty period but it was not yet for certain.

The head of Thai immigration has already said the amnesty will be extended. Been more than one article in the news about it and some in topics on this forum.

It has not been announced when the reports be due if the do the extend the amnesty for them. They apparently will not be due until 90 day from when your last report was due.

My 90 day report was due April 28, so prior to May 1. I think UbonJoe's was also due in April. He doesn't seem concerned about this. But this May 1 to July 31 date range confuses me. It seemed at the time, prior to April 28, it was quite clear you did not have to report at least until July 31 or post. Maybe I misunderstood this? For whatever reason I personally never have an easy time with Jomtien immigration, so am a bit cynical at this point that some I/O is going to try to stick me with the 2k baht fine.

Also, I did try the online reporting and got the same "Contact your immigration office" error. No idea why. My first 90 day report must be done in person, as someone has suggested?

Just go tomorrow afternoon..and do it.  I did mine last Tuesday in Nonthaburi..there are signs up stating no fines.  I just wanted to avoid possible madness.  I haven't used an agent in 22 years of visiting/living here, but I recall there being agents within spitting distance of Jomtien that would do it for you for 300 THB.  I was skeptical too, especially after some guys told me they had been doing them all along..

In reality it is March 26th to July 31st. There reports are not required until after July 31st at this time.

I would of had another report due last week but that is history now.

Just wait for the announcement later this week about another extension or when the reports will be due. Some offices have said 90 days from when you last report was due. Immigration will certainly not be wanting everybody to report at the same time and then again in 90 days.

Yup! Just discovered that too. Although it looks like it includes all online services and not just the mobile sites. Many thanks!

Exactly the same as you

I’ve seen that message before though when the underlying system behind the interface is down

Thanks for that link Ubon Joe!  You are always the go-to guy when it comes to getting helpful information!

Regarding the amnesty extension, are you getting your information from the official MFA Thailand Channel (on youtube)?  I hope they announce specifics on their weekly update this Friday.
