If this story is out of the New York Times then there is very good cause to doubt it's veracity.  I recall some very recent news about their Feb. 14, 2017 “Trump Campaign Aides Had Repeated Contacts with Russian Intelligence” get totally eviscerated by the FBI's own Peter Strzok, who was heading up that very investigation, in real time.  Not only has the New York Times lost all credibility but it is wholly evident that they are on a suicide mission to propagandize the public.  Believe them at the risk of getting a distorted and fabricated view of actual reality.

Yeah I saw the story of this buffoon. He admits himself he went to the protests because he was incensed at the DHS troops, he obviously went there to insult them. Then complains he got sprayed.

I am sure if I search I will find some Twitter accounts only with peaceful protesters and other accounts only with violent protesters. As an individual it's almost impossible to know the truth. This is why many of us look at trusted news sources who double check what they publish and do that since many years.
