Democrat Joe Biden chooses U.S. Senator Kamala Harris for White House running mate

She is a good choice. I was not fond of some of her choices as AG, in California, but that is in the past. She makes the ticket stronger.

I predict Biden/Harris by a 7-10 million vote margin.

  • Good choice Joe.  I've been hoping for the last couple years that she would be the nominee. She has a better chance of being president after Jan/2021 than anyone other than Biden as things sit now. 1s

Now that the Indians are taking over America, is there any truth to the rumor that they will annex the US as the Indian state of West Gujarat?

The Electoral College put a completely unqualified man in power, Trump. At least Harris has had hands on experience in California as a prosecutor, State AG and the legislation process as a Senator. With the level of attacks by trump one gets the impression he is concerned she represents a counterweight to his mismanagement of the Rule of Law and many other aspects of his failures to represent the best interests of the majority of the American people.

It will be interesting to hear her response if major of Chicago asks Trump for help with the widespread violence. A long ways till election time.

The question everyone outside of the US wants to know , will the Biden Presidency continue the Trump tough line with China or will they revert back to the appeasement days of Clinton and Obama.

And still lose the EC.

Some are not convinced trump has done a good job in relation to China. In the scheme of things relatively pin pricks which have cost the US taxpayer billions. Following is an opinion piece on Bidden and possible policy positions for the future regards PRC and Taiwan.

Yah. She might not be too happy as #2, so cover your back. You'll need to pick up your pace if possible. However, her likeability is pretty low.

The vitriol poured out on Harris by Trump’s dwindling base, which of course includes a re-hash of their ‘Birther’ nonsense, racism and more than a smattering of misogyny is a clear indication that they are not engaged in ‘politics’ but have retreated behind hatred.

The election will be won by whichever candidate(s) gather the ‘swing vote’ and by mobilizing people who don’t normally vote.

For this reason, Harris is a great choice, and for the same reason Illiberals hating on Harris is a dumb move.

Welcome onboard the effort to get rid of him, your vote counts, use it wisely.

People saying the attacks on Harris are not fact based are delusional.

She was attacked in the debates on her record. She had NO Response! She dropped out of the race soon after being attacked, and never offered any sort of answer as to the accusations.

Do your own research, but it sounds to me like what happened is she wanted to quit and get out of the race before things got real bad and she actually had to answer some of these questions. Maybe she wanted to get out before she was questioned again to save her chances as a vp pick.

Really think about that, a simple 30 second attack on tv and she completely drops out of the race, has no valid response... and there is no truth to the allegations?

Implicit in that nonsense post and all posts of its ilk is the acceptance Biden is going to win the election.

How about, she knew she wouldn’t beat Biden so dropped out, backed Biden and lined herself up for the VP pick.

He must be doing something right.

That’s a very odd thing to say within a thread in which Illiberals are ranting and grousing over Biden’s pick of Harris for his running mate.

We're still waiting for any substantial criticism on her here from the TVF sleuths.

So feel free to post that, in stead of vague conjecture.

lmfao the criticisms were bad enough for her to drop out of the race almost at the moment of their utterance! lol

After the debate Anderson Cooper sat down with her and asked her to respond to Gabbard's criticisms. This is after she had time to think and to give good answers. Her answers were: Tulsi is not a serious candidate. Tulsi is an Assad apologist.

She had no answers to any of the 4-5 criticisms of her prosecutorial record. None... 0 answers. It shows you who she really is.

As to your inability to find answers to your own questions via the interweb, difficult to know what to say. It is all there, go find it yourself. But when the candidate herself had no answers, the criticisms are obviously legit. That is how that works.

She dropped out, because she ran out of money.

Her prosecutorial record has some good points, but like politicians running for district attorney or attorney general everywhere in America, she presented herself as tough on crime, which very much meant prosecutions of Blacks, but not of police.  Amy Klobuchar did exactly the same in MN.  For this reason I think a background as a prosecutor offers little relevant experience for policy-making at the national level.

But, fortunately for us, politicians are mostly guided by ambition most of all, Bernie Sanders excepted.  Harris and Biden both know which way the wind is blowing these days and have adjusted their policies accordingly.  They will offer much better policies for race relations than Trump's stoking of white fear and hatred.  That's for sure.

Good article, thank you,  but not partiality hopeful on the Biden side. They suggest it will basically be an Obama advisers rewash, but that they are slowly changing their minds about China CCP threats. That's good but surly acknowledges the correctness of Trump's tough stance. They are learning from him.

And again the same vague conjecture.

People oppose her, fine, but if the only reason is 'she claimed to smoke pot while listening to tupac', that will not really impress anyone.

So please, anything substantial please.

News with fake repackaging.

Snopes fact check: Pence made the point smoking does not kill everyone, and "acknowledged the health risks of smoking after referencing fairly accurate statistics about them."

trump's tough stance on PRC... What has he proven to actually achieve by way of behavioural changes by PRC dictatorship?
