Popular Post Thomas J
Well lets see. Her father was born in Jamaica not the USA and not in Africa. Her mother was born in India. Though born in the USA Kamala's mother took her to be raised in Quebec, Canada at age 7 where she was raised. She is married to a white man. Yep, Joe sure fit the bill of getting an African American down for the struggle. Wouldn't it be nice if politicians selected people the way the sports teams do. Whoever is best makes the team and color was irrelevant. 1 1

The senator, also a former San Francisco district attorney, said her “career as a prosecutor was marked by fierce opposition to the death penalty while still upholding the law and a commitment to fixing a broken criminal justice system.” Norman Hile, a lawyer for Cooper, said he was “excited” by Harris’ stance. “We should not execute somebody who might be innocent,” he said. https://www.sfchronicle.com/crime/article/Momentum-grows-to-re-examine-California-case-of-12927143.php 3

Popular Post GinBoy2
I would have preferred Susan Rice, but Harris is a bruiser, and I think thats going to be required for this fight. Trump will start slinging mud thick and fast. She's a smart woman, although she's going to have to navigate some of her dodgier decisions as California AG. Her position on the San Onofre nuclear plant fiasco was one reason I didn't vote for her in the primary. But she'll fight, and I'm pretty sure in a Pence-Harris slapdown, he doesn't stand a chance 3

Eric Loh
Biden’s campaign has lacked the excitement until today announcement of his running mate. Harris’s appointment has excite the black voters and will bring in their votes that was missing in 2016. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-election/harris-vp-pick-say-black-women-biden-has-decided-write-n1236474 She will also energized the women and moderate votes. https://morningconsult.com/2020/08/11/kamala-harris-vp-candidacy-polling/ Even without Harris, the polls point to a decisive Biden victory. Harris will guarantee that win and take back Congress from the GOP.

Popular Post GinBoy2
I think was the GOP are struggling with is how do you attack sleepy Joe? Clinton was pretty much despised by a large section of the electorate, and as for Tim Kane, nobody ever heard of him before. Biden and Harris are a bit of an issue of how to attack them. People like Joe. They may not agree with all his views, but unlike Hillary he's likable, so it's hard to demonize him like they could with Clinton. Harris is a bit more of a pitbull. Yeah they can go after some of her more questionable actions as CA AG. But that gal will give as good as she gets. Soon the press will go into 'Gaff Mania'. But if 2016 taught us anything, if 'grab a pussy' gaff doesn't do anything, we are way past any gaff making a difference Edited August 12, 2020 by GinBoy2

Turns out she's so old neither Tupac nor Snoop Dog released albums until after she graduated. Lol. However, if you actually read that article or watch the video of the exchange, it's relatively clear that she never actually says she listened to Tupac and Snoop Dogg while in college. She talks about getting high in college. Then there are overlapping questions from two different interviewers: the first asks who does she listen to (present tense). Before she can answer, the second one asks who she listened to when she was high. Looking at the first questioner, she says Tupac and Snoop Dogg. Anyway, even if she had got mixed up a bit about what music she was listening to over thirty years ago when high, would it really matter that much? I have admitted many things I don't like about Trump and the whole god damn tihs show in general. Either side you vote for you are getting bent over the barrel. Depending on what you do for a living and how you handle it is the difference as subtle as if they use lube. The left has spewed more vulgarities and hatred Trump than pretty much anybody else in the history of the internet. I get that it is going to get much uglier. Do not even attempt to say your side has had any amount of decorum or diplomacy since Trump was elected. At least now with Kamala there is a head above the bunker to target. Let's see how well she fares dodging bullets meant for Biden. Again I agree with you but you are leaving out just how much responsibility he owns in all of this. He brings out the worst of himself almost daily. Don't forget the facts
