UK Lionesses Roar Home: Fans Celebrate Euro 2025 Win with Style
This is an excellent point. There have been a few women's footballers who have made some ridiculous statements. Megan Rapinoe and Eni Aluko spring to mind. They also come across as quite entitled, especially Rapinoe. Not great PR for one of the biggest names in the women's game to be a stupid, anti American, Blue haired entitled brat. Then you have the racist Sam Kerr (found not guilty of course by the 2 tier British justice system). The fact that Spain's World cup victory was at least partly overshadowed by the furore over "the kiss" in the midst of crazy celebrations. The demand for equal pay despite the much lower standard and commerical draw. It's all bad PR for the women's game. They come across as brats a lot of the time. Then we have to listen to them critiquing male players who are on a totally different level to them on Match of the Day. I like a round of Golf but I'm not in any position to comment on Scottie Scheffler's putting. Then articles like this on the BBC womens football page. Do we? Do we really need to talk about that when looking for a footy score? Keep the politics, demands, complaining and Wokery out of it and I think they'd be appreciated a lot more. -

Tourism Thailand Eyes Tax Boost for Low Season Tourism Revival
Why does the tourism sector fail to register it’s called the “low season” for a reason? Making incentives doesn’t stop the dire political situation affecting the baht, critical for attracting tourists, it’s the rainy season, prices are going up and in Europe it’s summer. All the gobbledygook fails to acknowledge the blindingly obvious!
