Large Seizure of Ice-Drugs

Deputy Chief of Chonburi Provincial Police, Police Colonel Udom Chanphithak was informed by inspectors on 24th April

that large amounts of Ice-Drugs were being sold at a famous condo in Pattaya therefore ordered Police Lieutenant Colonel Suthat Phumphanmuang to go make an arrest.

At a room in the Niran Grand Condo, located in Soi Arunothai, Central Pattaya Road, the police entered to make a search and found over 200 grams of Ice-Drugs together with three suspects; two women and a man aged 27 – 35 therefore arrested them, seized the drugs, and took all to Pattaya Police Station.

From questioning it was found that Miss Orathai, aged 35, is the owner of the room. The three bags of drugs were cleverly hidden in a doll, in a medicine container, and a shoe. The police also seized 20,000 Baht cash and gold found in the room, which is probably the spoils from selling the drugs. The two other people: Suphachai had 4 bags of ice-drugs, and Mrs. Jureeporn had one bag.

Orathai and Suphachai denied all charges but Mrs. Jureeporn confessed to going there to buy drugs for herself. Further proceedings and questioning will be made to find the whereabouts of other drug dealers.

i know it could happen just about anywhere but niran condos has found its way into the news for this and other reasons. i would avoid.
