A drug supplier in the south of Thailand has told investigators that getting a war weapon online is easy and cheap.

Chanon said that he ordered one through the Line application.

Within a couple of days it arrived in secure and safe packaging delivered to his home by a private company.

His AK-47 was just 50,000 baht - money he transferred first to the supplier.

The identity of the supplier of the assault rifle is under investigation.

These details emerged after drugs' police in Chumphon conducted a sting that found a man called Sawangpong, 25, in possession of 50 pills of Ya Ba (methamphetamine mixed with caffeine).

His arrest led to Chanon who had 4,198 pills and 107 grams of "ice" (crystal meth) in his possession.

Somebody buy safes, other people buy guns.

Anyone has the Line ID ?
