Woman seeks justice after her "sadist" uncle - a village elder -  bites her all over her body

A Surin woman has claimed that her uncle, a phu yai ban or village leader, plied her with drink then sexually attacked her. 

 

"Kate", 35, claims that he bit her on her arms, legs and neck in a ferocious assault. 

 

Daily News called him the "Sadist Phu Yai Ban".

 

The alleged assailant has denied everything and even threatened to expose her with pictures. 

 

The police investigation has stalled even though the suspect surrendered to the Sanom constabulary.

Kate fears that her alleged attacker is well connected to a local politician and will be protected. 

 

So yesterday she and her husband went to the justice ministry Rattanaburi branch to consult with lawyers. 

 

She has also spoken out to the press about her harassment online saying she is not in it for the money but just wants justice and for everything to come out in court. 

 

The phu yai ban similarly says he will fight everything in court. 

 

The district chief has set up a committee of inquiry and this could lead to the suspect's removal from office. 

 

Horrendous pictures of the woman's injuries have circulated in the Thai press and online. 

 

Kate is an assumed name.

Not a very pleasant experience for the lady, but first of all what was she doing allowing herself to be in that situation?

Did the uncle force drink down her throat?

Or did she willingly accept the drink?

We should not 'victim shame'.

Whether the young lady was drunk or sober is immaterial. The old man is out of order. He is a relative for goodness sake.

Unfortunately, he will probably get away with it.

I am not victim shaming, i just pointed out that she should never allowed herself to be in that situation in the first place.

This is a mix of a not so careful women, and a, as they write, sadist uncle. Nothing can in antway be blamed on the woman. The uncle is the one that should get all the blame. A normal relative would have had fun drinking together and help the woman home instead.

I think we all know what you mean, Colin. It´s just that it´s well known that some men and women are not equipped with that much common sense. To not own enough common sense to protect yourself, is unfortunately not illegal. To do what the uncle did is.

I'm not a forensic scientist but I have been bitten and the bite mark never looked anything like those Mark's. Every story has 2 sides and the fact he says he has photos proving his innocence everyone should wait. There is far to much of this believing with out question: People lie and I'm sure many men on here know how spiteful women can be.

Looks like bruises from a massage , often see people with their backs covered in such bruises

Its called a hot stone massage and the aftermath looks like this and it can be seen often in Thailand

Baring in mind that one example is a professional job and the other would have been a drunken unprofessional attempt

Biting a partner all over is a very animistic thing. But biting skin to the point where there is bruising is not good.

He needs to be found guilty first in a Court of law .

If he indeed did do it, he should be punished , although I dont think that he should be sent to jail IF he didnt do it

No, it's not just a bad translation by Thaivisa, the translated version (the OP) did not state that the attacker said that he has photos "proving his innocence".  That's why I asked the question.

I merely pointed out that the marks look more like massage marks than bite marks 

Bite marks usually have teeth marks on the outside .

I didnt suggest it was her fault or he is innocent , just I would need to hear both sides of the story before I decide

Was there a point in your posting those photos?  Did you want to embarrass the woman?

They are not bite marks. There are no teeth marks or cuts. They look like the marks you get from love 'bites'. These are caused by suction.

 

So basically they woman had top of her are sucked while she was drunk. 

 

From the photos she was not bitten all over here body at all. 

 

Also, these marks are all in easy reach of her own mouth. She could have do it to herself and is trying to blame the uncle for revenge or money. 

 

Some women (and men) do crazy stuff when relationships break down. 

 

If the guy did this against her will then of course he should be punished. But scary how most people immediately believe this women. Needs to be investigated properly before we can know what really happened.
