You do realize you can obtain reentry permit at airports

Do you mean at arrival? or in advance before booking a flight?

You can apply for a re-entry permit on departure from the country at either airport in Bangkok.

You do not need a re-entry permit before booking your flight.

Check in and then apply for a Re Entry Permit.

The reentry permit is different at the some airports. For example BKK airport you obtain pre passport control and DMK just after.

Can you request a one year multi re-entry permit at the same IO (Phuket) when you apply for a one year extension for a marriage visa?

Providing it is a 12 month extension. Yes you can. 3,800 Baht.

Has nothing to do with length of permission of stay. Can apply for single or multiple. The until date will match current POS.

I might add to wait until the extension based on marriage is issued.

I obtained my re entry permit at Suv but be beware.  My old passport, which i was going to  renew asap expired  5 months before my O-A visa and because of this, they would only give me a re-entry visa up until the day that my old passport expired. I assured that i was getting a new one, but they would not allow the visa to extend until my O-A expired.

Bare in mind that with the current Covid regulations in force, the opportunities to use a re-entry permit are rather limited...... certainly multiple re-entry.
