Dental Implants

Does anyone have any knowledge of the best places to have dental implant work done in Bangkok.Price is not a consideration but I'm interested in which institution is thought to do the highest quality work and has the best qualified dentists.I'm assuming it will be one of Bumrungrad,BNH, Samitivej or Bangkok Dental Hospital but I don't really know and could be wrong.Any informed advice gratefully received.

My daughter had it done at Samitivej and was quite satisfied. But it is a bit pricey.

Someone I know of did it where they live (not in Thailand), it took 6 months and numerous visits for only 1 tooth.

Looks like something you have to do where you live (or can easily travel to reach the place).

That is not the site of the well-known and highly-regarded Dental Hospital, which is on Sukhumvit 49, not Sukhumvit 55.

Implants at the Dental Hospital -- the real one, not the imposter -- are quite a bit more expensive.

I did not like the dentist I got at Bumrungrad. I had a cleaning and polishing done and my teeth were very sensitive after that. I was later on told that my treatment was too aggressive and a layer of my enamal was stripped.

I'm looking into Implants at this place too. I can tell you it is almost as expesnive as in many Western countries. Haven't begun the implant work yet, still in prep stages. But I can tell you in 3 years of going to this place, I am quite satisfied. However again it's expensive, but maybe you get what you pay for ...not really sure. For implant work I want to be as re-assured as I can that I'm in the hands of someone who knows what he/she is doing.

Bear in mind all the related complications - sinus lifts, bone grafts, infections...I wouldn't want to be going to some Dental Clinic for tis kid of work. Dental Hospital is as the name suggests. A facility full of various specialists who, at a moment's notice, will come to the treating desntist's room to observe and give advice. You can also get 2nd opinions if you want as there are often several specilaists working.
