webfact
Thai police hunt smuggler as Australia seizes huge liquid meth shipment By The Nation video screenshot Thai anti-drugs police contacted Australian authorities on Tuesday after almost 1 tonne of liquid methamphetamine was found hidden inside cans of Thai coconut milk shipped to Sydney. Narcotics Suppression Bureau chief Pol Lt Gen Chinnapat Sarasin said his officers have asked for more information after the Australian Border Force seized more than 600 litres of meth on Friday. The meth was exported in August and Thai police are now hunting for the culprit who arranged the shipment in Thailand. Chinnapat said investigators were working on the theory that the drug consignment was sent through a private parcel company by boat. They also want to know whether the meth was transformed into liquid form before it was shipped, since Thailand has previously only witnessed the drug in crystal form. The discovery of the liquid meth shipment comes after Bangkok police last month nabbed a man preparing to deliver heroin hidden in engine parts to Taiwan. Two people have been arrested in Western Sydney and an estimated 600 litres of liquid meth concealed inside cans of coconut milk has been seized. webfact
Thai coconut milk cannery denies involvement in illicit drugs seizure in Australia A Thai coconut milk cannery has denied any involvement in the smuggling of liquid methamphetamine into Australia, contained in cans apparently bearing the company’s brand name. In August, Australian Border Force officers inspected an airfreight shipment, containing 86 cases of canned coconut milk, after it arrived in Sydney from Thailand. A test on the liquid from one can indicated the presence of methamphetamine, sparking an investigation. The Australian Federal Police conducted a controlled delivery of the shipment to a warehouse in Girraween, NSW, where a woman and a 20-yer old man were arrested after accepting delivery of the shipment. Popular Post Sydebolle
600 (six hundred) litres of coconut milk by DHL; well, I am surprised that the Australian customs wanted to spot-check this particular shipment ???? But lets wait and see; water into wine, liquid meth into Malibu - happened already in the past as a big misunderstanding with four kilogrammes of ordinary baking flour. These Aussies never learn ???? 2

Of course it's nothing to do with them. It must be those coconut-processing monkeys up to their old tricks again. No wonder the UK has banned it already. OF COURSE it was transformed into liquid form BEFORE it was shipped. Because it was found concealed in coconut milk cans. Which had to be filled, sealed, stored and then loaded in order to be shipped. Or do you smart guys at the NSB suppose meth crystals magically turned into meth liquid inside the cans during their journey to Oz? 1

trainman34014
Quick arrests in Oz but don't bank on the same here as it depends who they suspect. Could be a case of ''Do you know who i am'' and the whole thing vanishes under the carpet !
