i get so angry at the people around my area burning the plastic bags and all rubbish they can find /the more toxic the happier there are/

you cannot go outside as so strong in chocking smells /we only pay 40b a month for garbage people to pick up every week

i think in oz it was banned 40yrs ago /are they that far behind?

40 baht a month thats 480 baht a year, extortion, we pay 8 baht a year and I burnt things like old tyres in the soi.  ????

If Thailand was as developed as Oz, the women wouldn't have sex with us, and we wouldn't have come here.

Anger is a fairly pointless emotion, it harms you more than anyone else.

When you feel angry have a lie down, watch some TV, or have a beer.

You'll feel far better than getting angry about something you can't change.

I burn all my rubbish in a 50 gallon drum. 

No rubbish collection near us , so no alternative.

 

 

Cans , bottles ( plastic and glass ) and boxes are in a seperate drum . They are given to an old man in the village .

The plastic bags and plastic packaging etc gets burnt once a month.

 

What we call rubbish , is something that nobody has any use for.

We got one of the blue plastic trashcans upfront, supposed to be cleared once a week or so. Mostly alright. What's annoying is people using it as theirs - don't mean someone tossing in the odd bag, but people taking their own house garbage. Can get filled pretty quickly. Took to hanging out near the gate when noticing the 'suspects', at things improved without a word being said. I don't really mind all that much, but the Mrs. is a another matter.

 

Way she sees it, when we were faced with this problem, we took care to throw it either at the temple bins or late night on main streets where they collect daily and early.

 

We're not burning garbage, separating what's possible, and recycling/reusing (mostly for garden stuff) quite a bit. When we get more settled in I'll make a proper compost bin or two, as well.

Same here in Sukhothai district ( about 100 years behind the modern world)

Im sat here in my living room now and some clown is burning rubbish as i speak and stinking the house out. We only have 2 neighbours and they're ruining the whole ambient atmosphere. ????????

We have our rubbish collected then burned one kilometer outside our village. Only thing we can do is recycle what we can.

Here, around my land happen the same every days, neighbor is a Police... but nothing todo, but if you want problems, report to police station.

When I was in OZ I didnt want sex with them neither

Lucky you. There is no waste collection in my area so everyone forced to burn everything. 

Best not to get angry about things you can not control or change.  Like extremely loud music it's one of the things you have to live with here.

I don't often get angry... i try and keep a bed handy all the time... just getting old and tired... but good solution, anger doesn't work too well here. 

No rubbish collection here as such. Plastic bottles and glass bottles are collected when someone calls, maybe once every 2 months. Tried composting, got told by the wife it stinks. Funny when all the neighbours light fires and the smoke stinks out the house.... It took me 18 months to come to the conclusion that one should go with the flow. The burning bin stands empty, the glass and plastic bottles bags are full, the garden and kitchen waste gets burned, (or feeds the village dogs and chickens), when it's not raining. Breaks my heart, but there it is. When in Rome.....
