The headline should read:
Survey finds negative views of China soar among Western countries allied with the United States.

That would be more accurate.

Maybe a China Apologist would say that  likely at our a Wumao  CCP Troll. Ask Thais about Chinese Not  Happy at All Boycott China

Okay, even if China does not show up to be the most reliable and nice country in the world, who can trust this survey. The survey is made by one of their enemies and has out of that reason already taken a stance in the matter. Out of what I believe they asked about 28 countries and got a majority of negative views on China. After that they probably downsized the survey to only the 10 most negative countries and took in another 4 to make it have a microscopic chance to be trustworthy.

The survey probably also carries Donald "Mr Covid-19" Trumps seal of approval.

Whether Trump approves or not is irrelevant.

Yes yes, if really ask like from average american who is Xi? They think is new hamburger in Mcdonalds!

Stupid poll ,asking on phone!

The 22% that supported Xi were probably Chinese and afraid to answer truthfully.

14,000 people from a total of 14 countries?

That's what you call a survey?

Give me a break.

No survey needed. China will do anything to dominate every country they have a relationship with. US is not the only country they’ve been thrown out of.

They are lucky, if the Chinese were more practical and less civilised then they would kick them out. Same as what Myanmar did with the muslim minority there

Why kick them out, 1 million slave workers are more valuable, just like Hitler did, except he brought them in.

Regardless of Polls, has anyone considered the similarities of China's actions to that of the Nazis in the late 1930's, Persecution. Brain washing, Land grabbing, Treaty breaking, State corruption, Dictatorship. You name it the CCP has done it all.

The world appeased Hitler, now at long last the world is waking up to Xi's steps for world dominance, and rapid financial wealth, after years of spying, stealing, copying from the West, using cheap and forced labour.

The Covid 19 pandemic is the last straw. as it could of been prevented, had the CCP really wanted too, but NO, they let it spread to gain an advantage over the rest of the worlds economies.

When you talk land grab, I kind of link that to the Mexican Cession of the 1840s. Huge chunk of Mexico grabbed by USA. Bet you forgotten about that. Land rights of the local Mexicans abolished after the land grab.

You are so wrong, and in many ways. China has troubles with ALL neighboring countries. I don't believe many people living in these countries can say anything positive about China.

Economically China is also far behind western countries. Look at the GDP per capita and you will see that China is very far behind. And that with a political system that puts people in concentration camps.

I'm a Malaysian. My country has troubles with all its neighbours Some of the issues are small and some are big. The Philippines continues to claim that Sabah belongs to it. Even tiny Singapore has water issues and territorial disputes with Malaysia. The Thai Navy claims that it needs to have submarines in order to have a stronger bargaining power with Malaysia over the Joint Development Area in the Gulf of Thailand which is expiring in 2029. But we can all continue to trade with each other in peace. Same with China. We have disputes with China in the South China Sea but we can still maintain a very good relationship. But don't forget, we too have disputes with Vietnam, Brunei in the South China Sea.

China is such a large country. Having disputes with many of its neighbours should not be something surprising.

Fun reading:

If you see someone praising China online, try posting this magic text:

- it is believed that 50-cent army troopers will flee from the discussion if they see it because even reading such text is prohibited in China and can lead to punishment.

Falungong. Heard of them? Epoch Times, New Tang Dynasty TV and China Uncensored are linked to them. I'm glad that this cult got kicked out from China.

Are there workers who are not slaves in a way?

Btw, it's Hitler day for you isn't it?

We should distinguish between the Chinese Communist Party which keeps its people down and uneducated, and the people themselves who are victims of the regime, even though most don't realise.

My guess is that if you do a survey among local middle income countries, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Phillipines, Myanmar, Laos, Malaysia....  there would be an even more negative opinion of China than in distant western countries who have only just started to wake up.

Yes, some idiots would readily believe in your claim that the CPC keeps its people down and uneducated.

Perhaps you should consider the fact that China achieved its current GDP per capita and $13.37 T GDP in nominal terms (second largest in the world) and If measured in PPP, the largest world economy in just 70 years. Just for comparison sake, USA has a history of 243 years to achieve their current economic status. Lets give credit where it is due and not try to diminish their achievement because of personal dislike.

Sorry should be 70 years. My apologies.

Events of nearly 200 years ago, have since been recognised as partly shameful, But were now in the 21st, century, Lessons learnt ????, certainly not by the Chinese.

Yes, China may need 4.7 million STEM graduates, to understand the mysteries of the technology it regularly steals, then try to advance the science without spending a penny on the original development costs

Of course "advanced" economies have negative views of China. Because none of them are willing to acknowledge that China's economic and political systems are superior to theirs.

Please indicate at least one example of how they are superior.

And don't use repression, theft of intellectual property, propaganda, aggression, or spying as examples.

So you agree that US too embarked on land grab by conquest and that’s ok because it was years ago. A rather convenient reasoning.

Really..now I wonder why that should be?

Perhaps because it is silly white men who abandon their countries (no pride) and rush off to Thailand (and environs) where they suddenly discover that China,India and a whole host of other Asian,Hindu,Muslim cuntries are very close..

Then they commence to whine...loudly whine...as apparently they have never consulted a map in their lives.
