In the early hours of Wednesday Morning, the Daily Logs Clerk at Pattaya Police Station received a complaint from a 43 year old Russian Tourist who was slightly injured in a bag snatching incident which had just taken place in Soi Bongai, South Pattaya.

He explained to Police Lieutenant Colonel Manot, the officer assigned to the case that he was walking along the street towards his Hotel when a Thai man and woman pulled up on their motorbike and proceeded to attack the man with the intention of stealing a bag carried by the victim.

The Russian put up a fight but was unable to prevent the theft of the bag which included 10,000 Baht in cash, the victim’s passport and other personal documents.

A full description of the two assailants has been given to Police who are now doing their best to locate them, arrest them and recover the stolen items.
