Using golf courses for alternative quarantine will not benefit ministers, says PM

At a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha dismissed speculation that using golf courses as alternative state quarantine sites for foreigners would be a conflict of interest as some courses are owned by ministers.

PHUKET:-- A female kindergarten teacher at Wichit Songkram School has had a holding charge filed against her by police for causing bodily harm to a 5-year-old boy in her class, but has denied kicking the boy in the face.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand said on Tuesday a Hungarian diplomat had become infected with the coronavirus after being in contact with his foreign minister whose tour to the region was suspended last week after he tested positive for the virus.

Krungsri increases minimum salary requirement for personal loans

Krungsri Consumer, a provider of credit cards and personal loans, has adjusted the salary criteria for borrowers from Bt10,000 per month to Bt12,000. This is because Krungsri is becoming more prudent in lending amid the trend of declining household income.
