Busted

A friend of mines daughter was busted for what they claimed to be drugs. She works in a restaurant, and she signed for a package that was for the owner.

 

Any advice?

i thought you would have to produce ID (proving correct recipient)  to receive a package here, otherwise  the delivery service would be opening themselves up to many issues..

Nah.

 

Myself, my wife, the maid and probably the dog have all taken delivery of packages both local and overseas.

 

Some needed signatures, many didn't, none needed any form of ID.

I had a package delivered on Monday, left just our side of the gate.

Sounds like a very easy way to screw an enemy, send them a package with drugs and tip the cops. Then you would be guilty until you can prove your innocence, pay enough money or go to prison and do the time.

Sorry. Managed to find the other post. Yes. The South African girl that got busted. Many stories out there and parents stressing. Maybe she got involved with the wrong crowd.

Ya too bad. Maybe she can pay her way out of it.  Any updates?

I always ask them to leave the package under the door mat if I'm going to be out when it's delivered.  No one will ever know it's there.

Don't sign for other people's packages...
