Uh, the sentence you quoted simply and factually states that President-Elect Biden won the election, it does not say that trump was immediately replaced (although that would have been preferable). And it's got nothing to do with whether trump concedes or not. Conceding the election has no legal implications.

Confused much?

I suspect that he numbers himself among many Trump followers who believe that what Trump says is law.

Yes. He is now in full dictator mode.

And no doubt he's believing that many Americans will love/support him for being a strong/tough guy.

Gore vs Bush - 4 weeks. None of my posts have denied Biden's win and with the huge establishment behind him it was no surprise. I don't like the concept of continuing voting after Election Day but that's the way it is at the moment. If it was simple popular vote all this would be avoided and president Gore would have won (as would Biden).

In the case of Gore vs. Biden it wasn't about voting after election day. The issue was something called hanging chads.

Be careful what you wish for. Biden will probably send USA to war again, the libs will screech about minority rights and attack the silent majority, and the debt will go up and up and the libs tears will go down and down. The pendulum will, inevitably, swing back one day. Biden is a much nicer man than Trump, undoubtedly, but he's going to be a figurehead as he fumbles his way through his 4 years (if he makes it to the end).

Much nicer than Trump? Is that so?

Lying dog faced pony soldier. I don't work for you. Look, fat man, Liar.

Yep real nice guy.

Firing people down the line in positions of trust because you don't like that they are standing by the truth and refusing to participate in false narrative is just nasty.

You are too polite, vindictive and spiteful are better adjectives.

I'm wondering when Biden takes over on January 20, it would not be a good idea to restore competent personnel to their positions. Lord knows America needs all the competence it can muster. It's setting new records on coronavirus parameters every day.

I suspect President-Elect Biden already has a plan on how to do some immediate and much needed swamp draining to get rid of the worst bottom dwellers left over from the trump "presidency".

I tell you, as an outsider it's completely boring and trite.  What's next, Trump's bed turner down risks sack?

Trump's bed turner down isn't in a position to influence public opinion on the election.  Putting in a new CISA chief who is favourable towards Trump would no doubt see all of his fake claims passed on, and conspiracy theories given credence.

White House officials have asked for content to be edited or removed which pushed back against numerous false claims about the election, including that Democrats are behind a mass election fraud scheme. CISA officials have chosen not to delete accurate information.

In particular, one person said, the White House was angry about a CISA post rejecting a conspiracy theory that falsely claims an intelligence agency supercomputer and program, purportedly named Hammer and Scorecard, could have flipped votes nationally. No such system exists, according to Krebs, election security experts and former U.S. officials.

Seems to me the article failed to cite what authority has declared Biden a winner and Trump a loser.  The fat lady hasn't sung yet.  And when she does sing it may be an unexpected tune.

Prior to this election, once the Associated Press called what was a pretty clear result, that was considered the moment the fat lady sang. Verification and certification duly followed without drama.

Gore V Bush was a tough one, but that was about a precise count in a single state, which everyone agreed was a very tight race.

This is not a very tight race. Not even close.

I shudder to think of how many decent Republicans right now are going to be considering voting differently next time round, given what they are seeing their party do to the very fabric of decent society.

Yes, that's exactly what's been happening. Duh!

A closer look at the Trump campaign's election lawsuits — and why they've mostly failed

"Trump’s campaign has either filed or joined a dozen election-related lawsuits in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada and Pennsylvania, alleging that counties used faulty machines, improperly submitted ballots, violated election laws, tampered with ballots to make the votes legitimate and a host of other allegations that seek to discredit the voting processes in those states, particularly in largely populated counties that turned out for Biden.

So far, the Trump campaign has secured only two apparent victories, and most of the lawsuits that aren’t pending have been dismissed for lack of merit or reliance on testimony that’s hearsay, according to a review of the complaints filed as of Nov. 12."

I think listening to only left leaning news leaves you handicapped.  Severely so.  But that's just my opinion and in no way would I tell you were to source your information.

In other elections that has held true, DSD.  In this election, though, no one has conceded.  To understand what that truly means would require knowledge of election law.  And since this election is not your typical election then, no, the fat lady has not sung in 2020.  Legally speaking there is no winner or loser at this time.  Granted, it doesn't prevent people from falsely claiming otherwise.

Unless someone can state what the actual law is that declares Biden a winner and Trump a loser then this point has been won by me.  I doubt anyone will be able to cite it.

The law of probability.
