Trump spares smartphones, computers, other electronics from China tariffs
Tim Cook knew that Trump was going to impose huge tariffs on China if he got elected and that these tariffs would greatly and negatively impact Apple's biggest market in the world for smartphones when they were enacted. So Tim Cook personally and preemptively donated money to Trump's campaign to protect his company in the future. Tim Cook has donated to Democratic candidates like Barack Obama in 2008 and Hillary Clinton in 2016, as well as to Democratic senators such as Chuck Schumer and Patrick Leahy in 2015. He has also supported Republicans, hosting fundraisers for figures like Paul Ryan in 2016 and Rob Portman in 2015, and personally donated $1 million to Donald Trump’s 2025 inaugural fund. His actions suggest a pragmatic approach to politics, engaging with leaders from both parties to advance Apple’s interests. You choosing to ignore these facts can only be viewed as purposefully acting dumb or as gaslighting. Either way, you are trolling and now stalking. -

Visa Exempt, third friendship bridge
I haven't seen any recent reports about the Nakon Phanom / Laos crossing. I also doubt any border-run agents do that route. It is possible that due to not many foreigners using that crossing, they have not instituted a multi-night stay rule - but no way to know without a recent report. You would be looking at a fairly long trip to get to where agent-assisted same-day runs would be guaranteed - Cambodia probably the closest. Unless a 2-night stay in Laos be a deal-breaker, it might be the easiest way to go. You can ask on your way out of Thailand if it is OK to return that evening - see what they say. -
