Khao Lak before Christmas.

Featured Replies

Thinking of getting away for a few days before Christmas with Thai GF and daughter. Been looking at Khao Lak, but seems really spread out. Nanthong seems to be the centre, and  thought that might be the place to go. Especially as things will probably be quiet with the way things are at the moment.

Any Khao Lak experts on here that can recommend an area with nice beach, restaurants and maybe a few things to keep an 8 y.o. occupied? Well located hotels?

Lots of deals being offered at the moment.

TIA

Khao lak was already depressing in ''normal'' time

i can easily imagine how it does look like now

if it's the nearest beach from your actual location

it does make sense for you to go here

i was there for one night begining of Novemeber, it's like Beruit, hardly anything open, no people, very desolate.

We got an amazing deal at a great hotel ( water something i think it was called) but yeah overall a but depressing tbh.
