Truck Runs Through Red Light Hitting Motorbike

An accident on the 3rd Road-North Pattaya junction was reported to the Pattaya Police at 3.20 am on 4th May. A truck had hit motorbike and fled the scene leaving the injured woman rider in the middle of the road.

On arrival the police and Sawang Rescuers quickly aided the woman and took her to the hospital where it is thought she is in a stable condition.

Witnesses stated that this woman on her Honda Click motorbike was waiting at the red light.

As the light turned to green she drove ahead but a truck speeding from the Dolphin roundabout through the red light hit her at full impact then fled off towards Sukhumvit Road.

The police are searching for the badly damaged truck as it left pieces of debris on the road including a part of the license plate.
