Condom Chili Bombs to deter Elephants

Featured Replies

Some time ago there was a thread about trying to keep elephants out of a plantation. Tried a search but can't find it now

Elephants don't like bees and at the time it was suggested to have bee hives around the plantation, but that was dismissed because there was not enough flowers around to sustain any bee colonies.

Came across another method of keeping elephants off your land with "Condom chili bombs"

Seems elephants don't like chili.

Anyway this is much more fun that just having a bunch of bee hives. Get a condom (preferably unused, but up to you :whistling:) fill it with chili powder add a firecracker and seal up.

When an elephant tries to come onto your land light the firecracker and throw the chili bomb to explode over the elephants head.

The chili powder will rain down on the elephants head and get into the eyes and up the trunk and they will beat a hasty retreat.  "They don't like it up em"

Some videos that explain the "Condom Chili Bomb" concept.

Life expectancy of person throwing the "bomb".

30 seconds, max!

Oh! you've tried it?

Obviously not as you still seem to be alive so maybe you have a dead friend who tried it, in that case sorry for your loss.

Or perhaps you just couldn't think of anything intelligent to actually contribute to the post so thought you'd post a pointless stupid smart ass answer anyway.

Well whatever lights your wick, have a nice day.

Sounds like a good way to end up in jail. I would recommend thinking this one through a little more.
