Health Teacher

Featured Replies

Hi,

I saw a post for a health teacher and curious to know what it is.  Is it a PE / gym teacher or is it a classroom subject educating students about health issues? ..... or a combination of the two?

At the schools I've been in, it's both. Usually for primary students, with their short attention spans and intolerance for lecture, the best way to get PE into them is hands on. Thus the PE/health teachers are with them out on the field most of the time. Then for the secondary students it's the opposite. They get mostly classroom lecture related to health, with occasional field activities.

Many thanks, Crunch.
