It was , no alcohol available anywhere , Thailands clampdown on alcohol sales seems to been complete .

Ten years ago you could buy a drink anywhere anytime at various places , even some 7/11s were selling beer all night .

The new tills put a stop to that .

There were still the all night mom & pop shops , bars , restaurants and hotels that would sell a beer anytime .

Then to hotels began adhering to the rules , and the bars began closing at around midnight .

The mom& pop shops began closing earlier and earlier .

The all night restaurants would always serve some take-away beers .

Last night; Nothing .

Not a beer to be bought anywhere .

The backstreet shops refused to sell any beer .

Even my previously reliable all night restaurants which always gave me take-aways refused to sell any last night .

The clampdown is complete .

Wondered why the shopping on ThaiFriendly revealed better results last night !!

Luckily I have a decent stash of booze here, Invited one young lass to come and do some housework last night and she called 5 of her equally tidy friends over to assist... not sure what hurt more this morning, my head (the one on my shoulders you filthy perverts) or my wallet !!
