A man has been charged with attempted murder after a road rage shooting incident in the south of Thailand on Saturday.

A friend of a public minivan driver was filming with his phone when shots rang out on the Asia highway heading into Had Yai on Saturday morning.

Driver Hollahuddin was hit in the right leg. Three shots were fired from an 11 mm gun.

Local police soon had the shooter in custody.

There were three men in the Honda City and the shooter was a man called Lukman, 29, from Narathiwas who was sitting in the front passenger seat.

Police traced the owner of the car to Petchkasem Soi 35 in downtown Had Yai.

Lukman said that the other men in the car were not involved and he was angry after the van cut in front of their vehicle.

He has been charged with attempted murder and several weapons offences.

The incident happened at 1.10 of the video published by Sanook.

Oh tut tut, Blossom, you are a little fragile!

Not enough ammo in the country for this type of anger ????

Thailand desperately needs patrol cars that travel around to stop dangerous drivers.  The minivan drivers are sometimes totally crazy.  And many Thai drivers act like they own the road.

Don't they? ????
