January 19, 20215 yr The daily numbers remind me of a heart rate cardiogram taken, numbers up, down, up, down, and so on. You would expect to see some kind of a curve as it marched upwards before starting to fall off in a steady fashion over a 14 day period until the next cluster, if there was one, appeared. Alas once again same as last year with the numbers.
January 19, 20215 yr Just now, Surelynot said: Well done Boris......'Too early to make comparisons'......'Not helpful to make comparisons'........'Not appropriate to make comparisons'...and as a last resort....'I simply don't accept that'
January 19, 20215 yr Dr Taweesilp, spokesman for the CCSA, seems to be a master of stating the bleeding obvious! Today he said, "The situation is worrying...the more active case-finding was conducted, the more cases were found." Duh! He also said that most new cases in Bangkok are being traced to entertainment venues in its western area, adjacent to Samut Sakhon. Perhaps people there are crossing into Bangkok to visit these entertainment places. My gosh, surely not! Look, dear Dr Taweesilp, the situation is clearly out of control in Samut Sakhon and heading that way in Bangkok. You need to lock down both places hard ASAP, or face the consequences. No more letting the good burghers of Samut Sakhon pop across to Bangkok for a few beers of an evening, you need a curfew, and the same in western Bangkok. Man up and tell your boss in Government House what he needs to do.

Number of positives will directly correlate to amounts of tests conducted. Again, these numbers mean nothing without the numbers of tests conducted.
