Hi

I am a UK passport holder and received my OA retirement visa in UAE on 15th December 2020. I entered ASQ in Bangkok on 30th December 2020, completed my quarantine and travelled direct to my GF's home in Phuket on 15th January. I will stay there. Do I need photos etc whilst there?

I need advice on any reporting that i need to do at this stage. I will transfer at least 65K Baht to my Thai bank account at the end of every month so I believe I am ok in future on the financial side but am unclear about the rest.

Could somebody please guide me or direct me to a suitably informative web site? To further complicate my question, I am likely to travel out of Thailand around mid March for a month and half.

Many thanks in advance!

The only thing you need to now is have a TM30 report of you arriving at your residence done by your girlfriend at immigration.

Then 90 days after the day you entered the country you will do to your first report of staying longer than 90 days in the country at immigration.

You can get almost 2 years of total stay from your OA visa by leaving and re-entering the country just before your OA visa expires. You would need your insurance to valid for one from the day you enter the country for that one year entry.

No need to prove your income until you apply for a one year extension of stay based upon retirement near the  end of your final permit to stay from your OA visa.
